Aerotek in Brockville, ON, is seeking a Machine Operator for a 6-month contract to hire. You will set up and operate cable-spooling machinery, load spools, run production, and ensure quality with basic measurements.

This onsite role requires steady work pace, attention to safety, and reliable attendance. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $24.57, with a 12-hour rotational schedule on a 2-2-3 cycle and potential conversion to permanent based on performance.

Formación

• At least 6 months of experience in a heavy industrial production setting.

• Stand for extended periods while working at the machine and on the production floor.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet production goals.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator works on a manufacturing floor producing industrial cables. In this role, you set up and operate cable-spooling machines, load blank spools, start production runs, and replace completed spools with new ones. The work pace is steady rather than high speed, with short downtime between start and finish cycles.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.57 - $24.57/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
