Job summary

Aerotek in St. Mary's, Ontario is hiring a Forklift Operator Dock Stocker and Walkie to support production and warehouse operations. You will operate a dock stocker and stand-up walkie forklift, move packaging materials, and use RF scanners to track inventory.

This contract-to-hire role runs on a weekend schedule (Sat–Mon 7am–7pm) with occasional Friday shifts, fully on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a dock stocker and walkie forklift.
• Proficient forklift operation skills, including stand-up forklift experience.
• Hands-on experience with inventory and material handling in a warehouse or production environment.

Job Title: Forklift Operator Dock Stocker and Walkie

Job Description

This role focuses on operating a dock stocker and walkie forklift to supply packaging materials to production lines and handle finished goods throughout the facility. The position involves frequent movement of product, use of RF scanners, and occasional manual lifting of packaging films weighing approximately 2030 pounds while standing for the majority of an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dock stocker and walkie forklift safely and efficiently to support production and warehouse operations.
• Perform line supply duties by delivering packaging materials to the production area in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle and move finished goods throughout the facility, ensuring proper placement and organization.

Essential Skills

It is a weekend shift and the hours would be from 7am-7am Saturday, Sunday and Monday and an 8 hour shift every other Friday 7am-3pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.55 - $25.55/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
