Job summary

Printful is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Maintenance Associate to operate powered industrial equipment in our Mississauga facility. You will perform TPM-based upkeep, adjust equipment, monitor inventory, and help train staff. We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of relevant maintenance/tech experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment to move supplies through the facility.
  • Perform TPM-based maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep production running.
  • Schedule repairs and inform supervisors of major issues.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and inventory levels.
  • Follow manuals and help create SOPs for machinery use.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
  • Test new machinery and train staff on use.
  • Adhere to safety and professional standards.

About the role:

At Printful, we strive for quality in all we do, and our Maintenance Team plays an important part in achieving that goal. That’s why we’re looking for a detail‑oriented Machine Maintenance Associate to join us. In this position, you’ll operate our powered industrial equipment to move supplies through the facility, so our teams have what they need to create and fulfill customer orders. The requirements are below, but what matters most is that you’re willing to learn. This position includes on‑the‑job training for using your work equipment and opportunities to grow within the company.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Adjusting and improving production equipment settings (speed/quality) to ensure peak performance and minimal damage rates

  • Maintaining equipment with a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach to identify issues early, prevent equipment breakdowns, and avoid interruptions in production

  • Scheduling equipment repairs and informing Area Supervisors and Production Managers if you notice any larger issues or patterns

  • Cleaning all assigned equipment to maintain visual appearance

  • Monitoring all spare parts and overall inventory levels, and reordering needed items

  • Following all technical manuals and maintenance guides, and helping create standard operating procedures for using machinery and equipment

  • Following a regularly updated maintenance schedule and keeping a maintenance log to document technical issues and work done

  • Testing new machinery and equipment, and helping train employees on their use

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Your qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry

  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift objects weighing 50 lb.
