About the Role
This is a paid internship that will be undertaken over a five-month period. The Intern will report to an Amii Scientist and regularly consult with the client team to share insights and engage in knowledge transfer activities. Successful candidates will be members of a cross-functional project team with backgrounds in ML research, project management, software engineering, and new product development. This is a rare opportunity to be mentored by world-class scientists and to develop something truly impactful.
About the Client
MiddleAI is an Alberta-based startup that is proud to have partnered with both Amii and AWS to commercialize groundbreaking new Generative AI “Action” models. Our research focus has been primarily on ethical, goal-based, multi-agent ecosystems that can reason and take action autonomously on behalf of Large Workforce Companies.
About the Project
As our name suggests, we are aiming to be the “middleware” between existing systems; much like humans often are in the “corporate machine”. You will join a team of like-minded, self-motivated nerds focussed on solving a narrow use case related to managing large workforces, scheduling and internal customer support.
Armed with our proprietary dataset, and an armful of Compute Credits, you’ll work with us to build the future of work for middle managers everywhere. We work in Python, and are currently leveraging Bedrock, Pinecone and Caffeine.
