Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a skilled MLOps Engineer to join our AI/ML Platform team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operation of machine learning models and the efficiency of our next-generation AI/ML platform used across various domains such as design, construction, manufacturing, and media & entertainment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing and optimizing MLOps practices.
  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines for machine learning models.
  • Collaborate to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for model training, inference, and data processing.
  • Develop monitoring and logging systems for tracking model performance and system health.
  • Work with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines.
  • Implement version control systems and contribute to model governance.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Play a key role in troubleshooting and incident response.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and MLOps, with deployment and management of ML models.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML projects.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Understanding of security best practices in MLOps.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of databases and data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
  • Exposure to ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Git and Jira.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
