Rocket Innovation Studio in Windsor, Ontario seeks a Machine Learning Developer to design platforms and frameworks for automated data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with data scientists, build services to run simulations, and develop data pipelines.

Responsibilities include hosting trained models, integrating them with business processes, and monitoring ML applications. The role requires advanced degrees or equivalent experience and cloud/Big Data proficiency.

As the Machine Learning Developer, you'll design and develop the platform and frameworks that facilitate automated data-driven decision-making, gathers data, and determines statistical algorithms and models that a system can use to learn from experience, predict outcomes and make decisions.

About you

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in software development, computer science, algorithm design, artificial intelligence, or machine learning or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in machine learning and using libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Caffe, Keras, etc.

• 1 year of experience working with large datasets, structured and unstructured

• 1 year of programming experience, including Java, Scala, C/C++, or Python

• 1 year of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Apache Hive, Pig, HBase and Kafka)

• 1 year of experience with distributed computing platforms, such as Spark, and user interface frameworks, such as Angular or React

• 1 year of experience with cloud computing providers such as AWS or Azure

• Ph.D. in software development, computer science, algorithm design, artificial intelligence, or machine learning or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

• Strong object-oriented programming skills, including proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++ or Python

• Knowledge of big data

This posting is for an existing vacancy for a Machine Learning Developer at Rocket Innovation Studio. The compensation for this position is $103,250.00-$153,250.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, retirement plan, and paid time off.
