Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager – M365 is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level Microsoft 365 (M365) projects across the organization. This role ensures successful deployment and adoption of M365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Purview, and related security and compliance tools. The Senior Project Manager partners with Digital Health Project leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross functional teams (such as Corporate Communications, Organizational Development) to deliver M365 solutions that align with organizational goals and drive digital transformation.
In the healthcare environment, the Senior Project Manager is expected to ensure that all M365 initiatives support patient care, adhere to privacy and security standards, and align with clinical workflows to minimize disruption to frontline operations.

- Risk Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Ability to identify, address potential issues and concerns through robust risk management and stakeholder engagement is vital.
- Adaptability and Attention to Detail
- Ensuring a meticulous and smooth migration process requires adaptability and attention to detail.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of M365-related projects, including planning, resourcing, risk management, execution, and transition to operations
- Coordinate with technical teams on M365 architecture, configuration, and deployment
- Partner with organizational leaders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when necessary
- Ensure alignment with Digital Health governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Oversee user adoption initiatives, including communications, training, and support
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status updates to executive sponsors
- Support change management and drive business engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate post-deployment support, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Ensure M365 solutions comply with organizational privacy, security, and retention policies specific to healthcare
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, clinical informatics, and privacy officers to align M365 functionality with clinical and patient care requirements
- Support change management for clinical and administrative teams, considering patient safety, workflow impact, and adoption risk factors
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 7–10 years of IT project management experience, including 3+ years leading M365 or cloud productivity suite projects
- Deep understanding of the M365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Azure AD, Intune, and Defender
- Experience leading migrations from on-premises environments to M365 (e.g., Exchange to Exchange Online, file shares to SharePoint/OneDrive)
- Familiarity with security, compliance, governance, and lifecycle management in M365
- Strong proficiency with project tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Copilot,and the M365 Admin Center
- Ability to manage vendors and external partners
- Experience in managing projects involving secure health data and regulated environments
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and ability to align M365 tools with clinical operational needs
- Familiarity with healthcare integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and interoperability considerations in a health system
- Change management certification (e.g., PROSCI) is a plus
