Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Junior to Intermediate M&A Analyst to join its Corporate Development team in Canada. The role offers hybrid work options and exposure to the full M&A lifecycle from target screening to post-merger integration.

You will work directly with the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, gaining hands-on experience in valuations, due diligence, and deal execution while contributing to Dillon’s buy-side growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics (CPA/CFA/CBV assets are a strong asset).
• Advanced Excel with financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple moving parts during a due diligence process.
• Emotional intelligence for post-merger integration and team collaboration.
• Proactive use of AI and automation to modernize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Target Identification & Sourcing: identify acquisition targets across Canada aligned with strategic goals.
• Valuation & Financial Modeling: build and maintain DCF, comps to evaluate acquisitions.
• Due Diligence Coordination: manage end-to-end due diligence with internal and external parties.
• Deal Structuring & Execution: assist with LOIs, term sheets, and internal memos.
• Post-Merger Management & Integration: track KPIs and support integration into Dillon culture.
