Harris, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., seeks an M&A Analyst/Associate to support acquisition evaluation, modeling, and execution in Canada. The role involves due diligence coordination, preparing investment materials, and contributing to post-close integration, with 10–25% travel.

A strong finance background and fluency in English are essential. Ideal candidates have 0–2+ years (Analyst) or 2–5+ years (Associate) in M&A or related fields, plus a relevant undergraduate degree;

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years for Analyst level; 2–5+ years for Associate level in M&A, corporate development, transaction services, accounting, or investment analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling and deal-related analysis; exposure to investment memoranda is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Undergraduate degree; MBA or professional designation is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition transactions from initial evaluation through closing and post-close follow-up.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and return analyses for opportunities.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and business-unit stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for internal investment committees.
• Assist with transaction negotiations, deal structuring and execution.
• Support post-close monitoring and hand-off to integration teams.
• Track and qualify acquisition opportunities and maintain relationships with targets and intermediaries.
• Provide internal reporting on pre-close activity, pipeline status, and post-close performance.
• Some travel is required (approximately 10–25%).
