Job description

TEEMA Solutions is seeking LVN LPN for long-term registry assignments for our pipeline for a corrections facility in Jamestown, CA. No corrections experience is required. Must have one year of LVN/LPN experience, a CA nurse license, and a desire to serve the underserved.

Pay Rate: $50/hr (We can pay a portion of this amount in a stipend. Amount will depend on how far residence is from the facility). Travel packages available. 40 hours per week. Weekly pay.

Schedule: 5-day fixed schedule; 40 hours per week; Day, evening, and night shifts.

Start Date: Availability to start in the 2025 calendar year.

Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, provide, and maintain necessary healthcare services consistent with policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct basic hygiene and nursing care, including administration of prescribed medications and the therapeutic effects, treatments, and disease prevention, as ordered by the physician.
  3. Collect information regarding patient status and report the results to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN promptly.
  4. Administer/assist with therapeutic measures and treatments.
  5. Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing as ordered.
  6. Assist the RN and PCP with clinic appointments; e.g., physical exams, minor surgeries, casting, and identifying minor illnesses.
  7. Assist mental health professionals by contributing to the treatment planning process and the formal evaluation of patient progress by monitoring and recording observed patient behavior.

Requirements:

  1. LVN license in the state of CA.
  2. 1 year work experience as LVN/LPN.
  3. BLS from AHA.
  4. Ability to lift 20 lbs without assistance.
