Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Clinica Sierra Vista. As an LVN, you will provide patient care, support, and technical services in a clinical setting, supporting our mission to serve diverse communities with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform patient care functions as prescribed by provider following established protocols, policies, and procedures within your scope of education, training, and responsibilities.
  2. Assist medical personnel with procedures, minor surgeries, and diagnostic exams.
  3. Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and notify the provider for further action.
  4. Prepare and administer medications as directed, following protocols.
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies, and identify repairs needed.
  6. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control principles.
  7. Monitor patient flow and coordinate with team members.
  8. Provide patient education and information following protocols.
  9. Document patient information and procedures accurately, maintaining confidentiality.
  10. Work at satellite facilities temporarily as needed.
  11. Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. Graduation from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
  2. Current California Vocational Nurse license.
  3. Preferred: Current I.V. certification.
  4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  5. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  6. Adherence to Clinica Sierra Vista’s health and immunization requirements or valid exemption.
