Job summary

AIRE Ancient Baths is launching a brand-new wellness center in Toronto and seeks a Wellness Practitioner to deliver deeply relaxing, non-therapeutic bodywork aligned with AIRE’s rituals, philosophy, and luxury standards.

You will perform massage and body treatments, inform clients about products, maintain treatment spaces, and support the Spa Attendant team. Training will be provided to uphold our high-touch experience.

Qualifications

• Certification or training in bodywork, holistic therapies, relaxation massage, Shiatsu, Thai bodywork, reflexology, or related wellness modalities, preferred.
• 1 year experience providing relaxation massage services, required.
• Experience in spas, wellness centers, or holistic practices, preferred.
• Strong understanding of relaxation-based touch techniques.
• Must be available one PM shift and one weekend shift.
• Must have at least 3 days of availability.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Team player and team builder.
• Energetic, engaging, and eager to work.
• Willing to develop new skills and experiences.
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.
• Courteous and respectful to visitors, clients, co-workers, and the leadership team.
• Willing to perform relaxation massages and body treatments per the company’s direction and standards. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform relaxation massage treatments, including body and facial treatments, following established protocols.
• Communicate information about treatments and products to clients, adhering to manuals and protocols.
• Maintain adequate stock of products used in treatments and report shortages.
• Ensure consistent experience for couples and coordinate with partner therapist.
• Ensure environmental conditions meet protocol standards.
• Maintain pristine work areas and prep spaces.
• Assist Spa Attendant team with customer service, organization, and cleaning tasks.
• Undertake other tasks within scope of work.
