AIRE Ancient Baths in Toronto is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain our luxury spa environment in the Fashion District. You will ensure a pristine locker room, assist guests before and after their spa experience, and support laundry and supplies throughout a shift.

Ideal candidates are customer‑oriented, with hospitality experience, a professional appearance, strong organizational skills, and the stamina to stand long hours and lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the wellbeing and comfort of clients in the changing/locker area and maintain impeccable cleanliness.

• Monitor supplies, manage laundry, and keep locker rooms and common areas pristine during shifts.
• Adhere to health, safety, and grooming standards and maintain privacy and tranquility for guests.
• Collaborate with team and management to address guest requests and resolve concerns.

Our Toronto Location:

Amidst the timeless charm of Toronto’s Fashion District, AIRE finds its home in a historic Edwardian Classicism building, once the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company. Built in 1912 and later designated a heritage site, its original wood structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past that once held the art of printing and now embraces the art of relaxation.

Honoring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books, printing presses which are subtle echoes of its history. AIRE Toronto offers a unique experience with a dry sauna and a Palestra, an indoor/outdoor bath area seamlessly connected to the interior through two jet baths, creating a tranquil escape where past and present merge in perfect harmony.

The Role: As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining AIRE's exceptional standards of service and cleanliness. You will ensure an immaculate and welcoming environment for all guests in the locker room. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will elevate the luxury experience AIRE is known for. You will also interact with clients at the beginning and end of their service, assisting them as they prepare to enter the bath area and providing support at the conclusion of their experience. Additionally, you will monitor locker room supplies, manage laundry, and ensure the locker room and common areas remain pristine throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Experience:

• Ensure the wellbeing of clients in the changing room area, overseeing their comfort, providing necessary products, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and tidiness for client reception.




• Address client queries and concerns, offering assistance to enhance their overall experience.




• Uphold the highest standards of conduct in all activities, ensuring adherence to AIRE's style of dress, communication, and physical appearance requirements as per the company's grooming standards.

Laundry & Facility Maintenance:

• Cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms, showers, and other areas to meet high standards, promptly addressing maintenance issues.




• Replenishing toiletries, hygiene products, and other essentials, ensuring that all items are neatly arranged and accessible to guests.




• Emptying trash bins, replacing liners, and ensuring trash areas are odor‑free and sanitary.




• Sweeping and mopping floors to prevent dirt buildup, using appropriate cleaning agents for marble or tile surfaces, and keeping floors dry to ensure guest safety.




• Collecting used towels for laundering, restocking fresh towels, and maintaining organized towel displays for a polished look.




• Thoroughly cleaning showers, sinks, toilets, and mirrors, sanitizing high‑touch areas frequently, and censoring no water spots or soap residue.




• Wiping down lockers, benches, and surfaces regularly to ensure they are spotless and free of dust, fingerprints, or smudges.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a hygienic environment.




• Monitor locker room areas to maintain privacy, security, and tranquility for all guests.

Team Collaboration:

• Maintain a professional demeanor while effectively communicating with team members and management to address guest requests and resolve concerns.

Who You Are:

• Prior experience in the hospitality, spa, or gym industry, is preferred.
