Job Description
Do you have a passion for design and helping others create a beautiful space in their home? Our luxury bath and kitchen specialists are known for their outstanding customer service, vibrant and fun personalities, along with passion and dedication for each project they undertake.

Our showroom is looking for someone who is genuine, patient, and creative. Someone who has exceptional verbal communication, organizational skills, as well as a passion for customer service and building strong relationships.

You will be responsible for the delivery of outstanding customer service as you assist our clients in the decision, purchase, and follow up of their bath, kitchen, lighting & hardware needs. You will be accountable for client quotations, product sourcing, and after-sales service. Relationship building is the key to your success as you will be required to work with homebuyers, interior designers, homebuilders, and contractors, as well as the team around you. You will represent Baths by Design in a professional manner. Upholding our core values and ethics is of the highest importance to us.

Additional duties will include:

  • Meet or exceed monthly product-specific sales and gross profit targets
  • Enter orders and quotes in the system, expedite purchases while maintaining proactive communication with customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues; address short payments and returns in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers’ expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre
  • Maintain product literature to ensure the most current information is available to customers
  • Drive showroom sales through promotions, marketing initiatives, and maintaining display materials
  • Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • Previous experience in sales / hospitality / interior design would be an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with customer service or sales; plumbing, kitchen or bathroom showroom sales preferred
  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
  • Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of products on display at the Showroom, able to suggest appropriate products to suit customers’ needs and promote the value-added services
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Possess excellent project management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

Additional Information
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000
