Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Lumber Framer to join our manufacturing team. The Lumber Framer is responsible for assembling structural wood components based on specifications, blueprints, or templates. This role plays a critical part in building high-quality frames used in residential, commercial, or industrial construction. The ideal candidate has experience with power tools, understands framing techniques, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine framing requirements
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., saws, nail guns, tape measures)
  • Secure structures using nails, screws, fasteners, and adhesives as required
  • Inspect completed frames for accuracy, structural integrity, and conformance to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and housekeeping protocols
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Assist with loading, moving, and staging materials as needed

Requirements

  • Proficiency with carpentry tools and safe operation of power equipment
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, or work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
