Job summary

lululemon is seeking a designer to bring a fresh perspective to Athletic Bags. You will own creative direction across run, train, yoga and emerging movements, crafting highly functional yet stylish bags with a strong sense of form.

You will collaborate with development, materials and manufacturing to translate ambitious ideas into real products, while leveraging mood boards, storytelling and visual communication to define the category.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fashion, sport, bags or technical product design.
• Portfolio showing originality, exceptional taste and strong design thinking.
• Strong understanding of construction, materials and technical development.
• Excellent sketching, CAD and visual communication skills.
• Experience developing product through to manufacture.

about the role

We're looking for a designer to bring fresh eyes to Athletic Bags at lululemon.

Run, train, yoga and beyond. The product is technical and highly functional, but the opportunity is much bigger: to bring a completely new point of view to how athletic bags look, work and feel.

We're open to a wild card. You might come from fashion, sport or technical product. What matters is great taste, curiosity and the ambition to create something that isn't already on the market.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $104,600 - $137,300 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
