Description & Requirements
Assistant Global Merchant

The Global Assistant Merchant is ultimately responsible for the accurate and proficient data entry and maintenance of product information in various merchandising systems and tools that support the Merchandising team in the creation, curation and execution of strategies and the global product assortment.

  • Analyze, validate and input slot/style information in global line plan
  • Ensure that relevant style attributes are entered and are consistent with the most recent attribute definitions
  • Analyze, validate and input slot/style information in global line plan for non-seasonal style additions (chase, Fast Turn, etc.)
  • Ensure that relevant style attributes are entered and are consistent with the most recent attribute definitions for non-seasonal style additions (chase, Fast Turn, etc.)
  • Analyze, validate and update the style-colour assortment visual flow based on Colour Flow Milestone
  • Ownership of sample management including inventory management, shipping of samples and organization of samples
  • Input into seasonal change tracker (style-colour assortment)
  • Communicate added (pullthrough) and dropped styles back to PD/Design
  • Continuously monitor regional selling results and connect with regional teams to understand global product and financial performance
  • Support team with global market and guest insight research
  • Support Global Merchant and Senior Merchant on content creation for key go to market gates
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day‑to‑day tasks
Assistant Regional Merchant

The Assistant Regional Merchant is ultimately responsible for the accurate and proficient data entry and maintenance of product information in various merchandising systems and tools that support the Regional Buying team in the in‑season execution and management of regional market needs.

  • Responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data integrity across all merchandising systems and internal files and databases:
    • Complete/add regional inputs into global attributing database (incl. data scrub, cleanup)
    • Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS
    • Create manual seasonal and non-seasonal PRs in TSS
    • Execute Seasonal product flow changes to In‑Store Date and execute Ship Mode Changes
    • Input PO Change requests into POC (PO Changes) file, liaise with LLO and approve vendor‑initiated changes
    • Item Management in Flow (season codes, in‑store‑dates, drop day, clustering changes, in DC, etc.)
    • Input chase request in Chase Ledger and communicate request to cross‑functional partners
  • Responsible for merchandising TOP sample management and preparing product samples for merchandising meetings and product presentations, including IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown. Responsible for inventory management, shipping of samples and organization of samples
  • Support Regional Merchant with content creation for IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown
  • Own the retail validation process (review, validate and update retail prices) and execute markdowns. Complete retail price validation and price exceptions in style option currency file
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day‑to‑day tasks
Assistant Merchant – Events and Partnerships

The Assistant Merchant is ultimately responsible for the accurate and proficient data entry and maintenance of product information in various merchandising systems and tools that support the Buying team as well as our cross‑functional partners in planning, brand and retail.

  • Responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data integrity across all merchandising systems and internal files and databases
  • Support buy process with buy document maintenance
  • Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS
  • Create manual seasonal and non-seasonal PRs in TSS
  • Execute seasonal product flow changes and execute any necessary Ship Mode Changes
  • Input PO Change requests into POC (PO Changes) file, liaise with LLO and approve vendor‑initiated changes
  • Item Management in product tracking documents, keeping each department’s orders denoted
  • Responsible for preparing product samples for any meetings and product presentations. Responsible for inventory management, shipping of samples and organization of samples
  • Support Merchant with content creation for buys and any meetings
  • Support with inventory transfers, working closely with planning and brand partners to execute in documents and systems
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day‑to‑day tasks
Assistant Merchant – Strategic Sales

The Assistant Merchant Strategic Sales is ultimately responsible for the accurate and proficient data entry and maintenance of product information in various merchandising systems and tools that support the Strategic Sales Buying team in all aspects of the buy process.

  • Responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data integrity across all merchandising systems and internal files and databases
  • Complete/add regional inputs into global attributing database (incl. data scrub, cleanup)
  • Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS
  • Create manual seasonal and non-seasonal PRs in TSS
  • Execute seasonal product flow changes to In‑Store Date and execute Ship Mode Changes
  • Input PO Change requests into POC (PO Changes) file, liaise with LLO and approve vendor‑initiated changes
  • Creation and style management of AIF tool each season (season codes, in‑store‑dates, drop day, clustering changes, in DC, etc.)
  • Input chase request in Chase Ledger and communicate request to cross‑functional partners
  • Responsible for supporting with acquiring any TOP sample for meetings with account managers or key accounts. Also securing and coordinating the shipment of fabric swatches to account managers with strategic sales coordinators
  • Support Merchant/Associate Merchant with content creation for IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown
  • Own the retail validation process (review, validate and update retail prices) whenever needed and validating the mainline weekly markdowns against strategic sales assortment.
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day‑to‑day tasks
  • Work closely with B2B team with preparations for drop days
  • Support Merchant/Associate Merchant with inventory questions from account managers and planning
Qualifications
  • BA, BSc, BBA, BComm (or equivalent), specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management an asset
  • Retail experience preferred, Merchandising experience an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Financial acumen and understanding of retail math
  • Acute eye for Product
  • Proven ability building collaborative team relationships
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage data entry and highly organized with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to multitask and operate in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor
Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits Package

$55,300‑$72,600 annually; base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent employees may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program.
