Dilawri Group of Companies in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Lube Technician to join Vancouver Honda's Service Department. The role supports technicians by performing routine maintenance and diagnostics, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely service.

The ideal candidate will have automotive service experience or related training, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive service experience or apprenticeship experience or automotive technical training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and repair practices.
• Experience operating tire mounting, balancing, and fluid service equipment is considered an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Inspect, top up, and replace automotive fluids including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
• Check, adjust, and maintain proper tire pressure.
• Perform tire rotations, mounting, balancing, and seasonal tire changeovers.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Replace vehicle batteries, test charging systems, and ensure proper installation.
• Replace windshield wiper blades and inspect related components.
• Replace exterior lighting components, including headlights, taillights, and signal lamps.
• Assist with the removal and installation of exhaust system components as required.
• Support minor interior and exterior trim repairs and replacements.
• Assist in identifying and addressing common vehicle concerns such as water leaks and basic maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and communicate inspection results to Service Advisors and senior technicians.
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to dealership and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Overview

Vancouver Honda is currently seeking a LubeTechnician to join our Service Department. Reporting to the Service Managerand Shop Foreman, the Lube Technician plays an important role in deliveringhigh-quality vehicle maintenance services and supporting the overall efficiencyof the service team.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenanceprocedures, conduct vehicle inspections, and assist technicians with a varietyof automotive service tasks. This role is ideal for an individual who ispassionate about the automotive industry, takes pride in delivering qualityworkmanship, and is looking to develop a long-term career in automotiveservice.

The expected pay for this position is $23.59 perhour.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Performoil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications anddealership standards.
