Position: Lube Technician at Capilano Audi

We are currently seeking a Lube Technician to assist with the Service and Parts departments. Your responsibilities will include supporting workflow and vehicle maintenance during service appointments, such as washing vehicles, customer pick-up/drop-off, parking, and vehicle lot management.

  1. Rearrange vehicles to maximize space and maintain the vehicle lot.
  2. Verify receipt of new vehicles, sign and date bills of lading, and forward to administration.
  3. Examine vehicles for damage and confirm accessories listed on invoices.
  4. Record damage descriptions and missing items for manufacturer damage claims.
  5. Register and store keys properly.
  6. Wash and clean new vehicles as required.
  7. Transfer sold vehicles to the new vehicle preparation department.
  8. Service stored vehicles to protect batteries, tires, and finishes.
  9. Travel to the license office daily for pickups and deliveries.
  10. Implement preventative measures like installing locking wheel nuts to prevent theft.
  11. Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
  12. Comply with health and safety regulations.
  13. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years of service department experience (asset)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills
  • Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good agility for installing wheel locks
  • Strong observation skills for inspecting incoming vehicles
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
