Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is seeking a Lube Bay Foreman to lead a team of Lube Technicians and Heavy Duty Technician Apprentices at the Fort McKay Industrial Park location. You will supervise daily activities, ensure quality repairs, and maintain safe working practices in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires Journeyman HDT certification, supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician certification is required.
• OSSA or CSTS certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
• Valid driver's license (minimum class 5) with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to the maintenance team and supervise daily activities.
• Train employees on company processes, safety protocols, and job procedures.
• Assign work to technicians and ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor progress of work orders to meet deadlines and address delays.
• Inspect work in progress and completed repairs for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues and guide technicians.
• Coordinate with service writers and shop foreman for extensive repairs.
• Ensure availability of resources and materials for scheduled repairs.
• Collaborate with operations, parts and warehousing to maintain workflow.
• Promote a safe work environment through safe work procedures with the HSE team.
