QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Qualifications appropriate to the position are required. As an applicant you must be qualified at the time of the posting to be eligible; do not apply to positions where you do not hold the qualifications.
• Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
• A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession.
• A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life.
• Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques.
• Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices.
• Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students.
