Intermediate Teacher

at St. Patrick's Catholic Elementary School, Woodstock

LTO Assignment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications appropriate to the position are required. As an applicant, you must be qualified at the time of the posting to be eligible; do not apply to positions where you do not hold the qualifications.
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
  • A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
  • Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students

  • Copies of most recent Performance Appraisals and/or Practice Teaching Reports.

  • Pre-service Roman Catholic Religious Education Course is preferred
