Position Details

1. Grade / Division: Grade 7
2. FTE / Sections: 1.00 FTE
3. Schedule: As per collective agreement.
4. Qualifications: As per the Education Act and Regulations, unless otherwise specified. Appointment of Occasional Teachers in Long Term Assignments.

Assignment Details

This assignment will be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement, prioritizing unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining unit, in order of seniority. If unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.

We encourage applications from all certified teachers and education students holding, or who have applied for, a Temporary Certificate of Registration and Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers.

Note that the posted end date is subject to change and the assignment may end earlier due to staffing needs, the return of the absent teacher, or at the end of the school year. The assignment may conclude sooner than the posted date.
