Staff already in an LTO are not eligible to apply to this posting if it will conflict with their current LTO. All Long Term Occasional assignments are subject to a revised end date with 2-weeks notice. This posting description focuses on the role responsibilities for an Extended Day program assistant and related duties as assigned by the school administration. Specific responsibilities are determined by the site and may include supervision, support for students' daily activities, and collaboration with teaching staff in accordance with WRDSB policies.

For staff screening and police record checks; employees in licensed child care programs are required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check on or before the fifth anniversary of the most recent check, plus an annual offence declaration. Educators in before/after school programs must complete a VSC request through the local police service and submit the original electronic copy for review.
