Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a dedicated LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and precise MAR/TAR documentation.

You will administer medications per physician orders, uphold the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents' health changes, and report any refusals or adverse reactions promptly while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
