A supportive living care home in Red Deer County, Alberta is seeking a passionate and dedicated LPN Care Team Supervisor to join our team. This is a unionized care home with excellent benefits and a supportive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the healthcare of all residents, including communication with families and staff.
  2. Assist the Nursing Leadership Team with medication management, including administration and ordering.
  3. Provide direct supervision of care provided by LPNs and Care Aides.
  4. Foster a homelike atmosphere for residents.
  5. Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity.
  6. Train and educate care team and nursing staff on an ongoing basis.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Completion of Practical Nurse program from an accredited educational institution.
  2. Full scope of practice Licensed Practical Nurse with membership in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
  3. Minimum of two years experience supervising care delivery in a supportive living care environment.
  4. Strong desire to enhance the lives of seniors.
  5. Computer literate and familiar with electronic health records.
  6. Current and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Location:

Conveniently situated on the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, Innisfail is a thriving mid-sized community just 15 minutes south of Red Deer and an hour north of Calgary. Reliable transportation is required.
