Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. You will support patient independence and participate in a multidisciplinary team on the 3 South General Surgery unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent.
• Current practicing registration as an LPN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient/family needs, plan care, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
• Provide nursing care per policies and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document and report changes, administer medications, and support admissions/discharges.
• Assist in orientation of new staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
