Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Nursing department. Under the supervision of the Director of Care, the LPN provides professional nursing services, administers prescribed treatments, and works with the care team to coordinate resident care and discharge.

The successful candidate will graduate from an approved LPN program, maintain CLPNM registration, and demonstrate excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program required.
• Recent, related experience in the applicable clinical area may be required, or preferred.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Provides professional practical nursing services to designated residents and administers prescribed treatments.
• Collaborates with the health care team to coordinate resident care and discharge.
• Maintains documentation and adheres to Manitoba Health Standards for Personal Care Homes.
