HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Windsor, North Carolina, to deliver direct patient care in a correctional health setting. Travel Pay:
Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $20.47, Stipend (Lodging $693.00 + M&I $329.00) = $1,022.00

Shift Details:
10 hr- Evening Shift
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as a LPN within the last 3 years.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).
