Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an LPN Coordinator in Dawson Creek to lead a team of LPNs and unregulated care staff while applying clinical nursing expertise to resident care. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on nursing.

Under supervision of the Manager, you will assign work, schedule staff, monitor performance, and ensure outcomes meet established standards. The position supports NH priorities and a safe, respectful environment for patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Practical Nursing program and current LPN registration with the BCCNM.
• Minimum two years of recent clinical or supervisory experience in a community health setting.
• Valid BC driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision to LPN and unregulated care staff.
• Coordinate work assignments, scheduling, and staff direction on the unit.
• Deliver nursing care to assigned residents according to established policies and standards.
• Promote safe, respectful, and inclusive care aligned with NH policies.
