Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Deer Lodge Centre, Lodge 6 Chronic Care. The role is in person and part‑time (0.65 FTE) with day, night, and weekend shifts, delivering nursing care and coordinating patient plans.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, administer treatments, and support discharge planning. Manitoba licensure is required; a current criminal records check may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program.
• Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba.
• Experience with geriatrics and chronic care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients/residents.
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team members.
• May supervise students, health care aides and other support staff.
