An established industry player is seeking an Integrated Practice Clinician to enhance the mental health of children and youth. The Team
MCFD’s Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) teams are community-based groups that work collaboratively with families, schools, and local agencies to support the mental health and well-being of children and youth. These multidisciplinary teams aim to foster positive outcomes through coordinated, family-centered services across various community settings.
The Role
The Integrated Practice Clinician supports children, youth, and families involved with MCFD by collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to address complex mental health needs. Using a neurodevelopmental and trauma-informed approach, the clinician provides education, consultation, and coordinated treatment planning to strengthen the capacity of care teams and promote stability and healing.

Qualifications: Education and Experience Requirements
Additional qualifications include completion of a psychological pre- or post-doctoral internship of 1600 hours in a child and youth mental health or hospital setting, experience in clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and a minimum of one year full-time equivalent experience working with children, youth, and families providing community-based mental health services. A valid class 5 BC Driver’s license or equivalent is required.

About this Position:
Two opportunities are available: one permanent and one temporary until July 3rd, 2026. A permanent appointment may result from the temporary position. Applicants not fully meeting the requirements may be considered at a lower classification. The position is posted as SPO MH 24 and Nurse 7 under different requisitions. Flexible work options include up to 2 days of telework per week. An eligibility list may be established for future vacancies. A Criminal Record Check and CRRA are required. Employees must be based in BC.
