Location – Kincardine, ON

The Shoreline Power Group, a joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis, is located in Kincardine, Ontario. It is part of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program at Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station, which aims to extend the life of six reactors safely through 2064.

The Feeders Technical Series Lead, reporting to the Area Manager, will provide leadership in supervising construction projects, assisting in project management, scheduling, customer relations, engineering, and procurement. Responsibilities include risk analysis, project forecasting, liaising with EPC and subcontractors, and overseeing project completion within scope, schedule, and budget.

Your Role Within The Team
  • Conduct detailed constructability reviews to develop project schedules, manpower, and procurement plans.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for engineering and construction segments.
  • Report on project milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of project documentation and design deliverables.
  • Ensure project compliance with standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
  • Address construction issues through problem-solving, create FDRs, and advise on field solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend design changes and drawing releases.
  • Interface with customers to provide project status updates and meet their needs.
  • Monitor change orders and scope changes.
  • Support safety programs and track safety statistics.
  • Write and review purchase specifications and subcontract documents.
  • Coordinate site procurement activities, materials validation, and traceability.
  • Participate in quality assurance and implement policies and procedures.
  • Provide estimating and project management backup as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

The Ideal Candidate
  • University Degree or College Diploma or related experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Feeders Installation / Fabrication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Physical demands include working in various locations, travel, radiological environments, work at heights, and PPE requirements.
  • Must meet nuclear export controls and security clearance requirements, preferably with Bruce Power clearance.
