Qualifications

• Proven experience in a bartending role is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a bar team.
• Strong knowledge of various beverages, including cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational running of the bar service.
• Induct, train, and develop bar team members.
• Prepare beverages for guests and maintain service standards.
• Create seasonal cocktails following hotel standards.
• Provide attentive service to reflect brand standards.

As Head Bartender you will assist the bar management team with the smooth operational running of the bar service in order to deliver an excellent and memorable experience for our guests.

• Alongside the bar management team, you will oversee the smooth operational running of the bar service.
  
• Take an active role in inducting, training and developing your team, making use of internal and external training.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for our guests.
• Help to create innovative seasonal and promotional cocktails in line with Nobu Hotel London Portman Standards.
• To provide a genuine, attentive, and friendly service to our guests in order to reflect the Nobu standards.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the bar menu, including the beer, wine, sake and cocktail list.
• To feel empowered to make a decision that will enhance the guest experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
• To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
