Job summary

Tower Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Calgary is seeking a Lot Attendant to transport customers and personnel, and to keep the lot clean and organized while inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and minor damage. You will assist with service write-ups, tagging customer cars, and parking vehicles for sale and service, with seasonally driven exterior cleaning and signage duties.

A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable and customer-focused.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and tools is a plus.

Your area of focus.

In this position, theAutomotive Lot Attendantwill be responsible for transporting customers as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles owned by customers and those that will be placed into inventory. Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed.

What drives your day-to-day?
  • Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
  • Building and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Service and Sales Department duties
  • Daily Organization and parking of vehicles for saleand service department
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
  • Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e. snow removal)
  • Identify any lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager
  • Placing signage in and on vehiclesfor advertising purposes
  • Monitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process
  • Lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc)
What Are The Must-haves…
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
  • Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $16 – $19 Hourly — No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
