Position: Lot Attendant

Location: Sherwood Park, AB

Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire

Your area of focus

The Automotive Service Lot Attendant is responsible for transporting customers, cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior), and managing vehicle inventory. Success requires physical capability to maneuver vehicles thoroughly and efficiently.

Daily responsibilities include:
  • Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed
  • Maintain building and grounds
  • Assist in Service and Sales Departments
  • Organize and park vehicles for sale and service
  • Remove protective coverings and ID tags from vehicles
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, damages; report issues
  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging
  • Pick up parts from Parts Department
  • Help with shop clean-up and deliveries
  • Perform seasonal exterior cleaning (e.g., snow removal)
  • Address lot merchandising needs
  • Place signage for advertising
  • Monitor vehicle progress in reconditioning
  • Maintain lot tidiness
  • Detail vehicles’ interiors and exteriors, including vacuuming and washing
  • Ensure showroom vehicles are clean and presentable
  • Deliver dealer trades and drive customers home as necessary
Must-have qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Interest in automotive industry and vehicle knowledge
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Experience with cleaning products/tools (asset)
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize
  • Excellent customer service skills
