Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Loss Prevention Officer located in Nanaimo, BC. The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for retail loss prevention, communication with stakeholders, physical security monitoring, surveillance, and prevention of security breaches.

Qualifications

• Must live or be willing to commute to Nanaimo
• We will train any new applicants selected without experience
• Retail Loss Prevention and Prevention skills
• Effective Communication skills
• Proficiency in Physical Security and Surveillance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and situational awareness
• Experience in loss prevention or security roles
• Knowledge of security technology and systems
• Certifications in security or related fields are a plus
