Key Responsibilities
  1. Provides Level 3 First Aid to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  2. Facilitates drug and alcohol testing.
  3. Conducts workplace monitoring sampling as directed.
  4. Monitors and records all visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
  5. Participates in Mine Rescue/Emergency Response Teams.
  6. Assists with medical surveillance programs.
  7. Performs inspections of fire extinguishers.
  8. Assists with incident investigations and reporting.
  9. Maintains PPE inventory at the Security Desk.
  10. Facilitates site orientation for visitors and suppliers.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work shifts in various environmental conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mine rescue experience is an asset.
Education
  • OFA Level III First Aid or equivalent.
The Community
  • Williams Lake, with a population of ~12,000, serves a larger community of 25,000.
  • Recreational sports, trail networks, lakes, and skiing venues are available nearby.
