Adecco is actively seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to join our client's team in Ajax, ON. This full-time role offers $70,000 / year and involves preventing theft, fraud, and operational losses through active monitoring, investigations, and enforcement of safety protocols. The ideal candidate has a background in security or investigations and is skilled at identifying risks, responding to incidents, and working with staff and law enforcement to protect company assets.

Pay Rate : $70k / year.

Location : Ajax, ON

Job type : Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities :

Monitoring surveillance systems and conducting physical patrols

Investigating inventory discrepancies and policy violations

Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency personnel

Apprehending individuals engaged in fraudulent or criminal activity

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all incidents

Educating and training staff on prevention techniques and safety protocols

Assisting with inventory audits and identifying shrinkage trends

Ensuring all security and safety standards are met or exceeded Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary training in security / criminal justice is an asset)

Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field

Strong observational and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure

Proficient in the use of surveillance systems and reporting tools

Physically fit with the ability to walk / stand for long periods
