Join Our Team as a Server!

Seaside Provisions, Wine, Spirits, and Gourmet, located in North Vancouver's Shipyards Commons, is seeking a fun, outgoing server to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Our 150-seat restaurant combines a wine bar and gourmet market, offering a variety of specialty meats, cheeses, artisanal chocolates, and an exceptional selection of wines, spirits, and beers.

Our menu features artisanal flatbreads, fresh salads, steaks, and handcrafted charcuterie boards. We aim to create a memorable dining experience with exceptional food, drinks, and service. If you love fine food, wine, and providing outstanding customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional service to guests and create a positive impression.
  2. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs efficiently.
  3. Use organizational skills and a guest-focused approach to solve problems.
  4. Answer questions about food, drinks, and wines; offer recommendations.
  5. Process orders accurately using POS systems and handle payments.
  6. Assist with setting up and cleaning stations, and restocking supplies.
  7. Support team members and perform other restaurant tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of serving experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and brunch shifts.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid Serving It Right certification.
  • WSET Level 1, 2, or 3 is an asset.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
