Job description

Long Term Sub Special Education Social Worker

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of Long Term Sub Special Education Social Worker.

Candidates must hold a valid Maine LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, or LCPC-c license.

  • Must be able to build positive relationships with students and staff and work well as part of a team.
  • Experience with children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral needs is preferred.
  • A deep understanding of child development and social emotional learning is required.

Reports to: Building Administrator and Director of Special Education

Work Schedule: 180 Day Contract

Start date: March 17th through the end of the School year

  3. Helping students develop skills to apply, interpret, analyze, and evaluate the vast, ever-expanding amount of information;
  4. Employing effective lesson design by adjusting to students’ personal learning needs and preferences, including appropriate technology applications.
