Job description

Long Term Occasional Teaching Opportunity teaching Planning Time at St Daniel starting as soon as possible until June 27, 2025.

First consideration will be given to Certified Occasional Teachers on the WCDSB Daily Occasional Teacher List. Second consideration will then be given to external certified teachers.

External Certified teachers, who are successful in obtaining a Long-Term Occasional teaching assignment with WCDSB, will also be placed on the WCDSB's Daily Occasional Teacher List.

Requirement: Primary qualifications are preferred. Consideration will be given to those who hold Junior or Intermediate qualifications.

List of Mandatory Documents for External Applicants Only (Note: If you are currently a WCDSB Occasional Teacher, you do not need to resubmit these documents):

  1. Cover letter and resume
  2. Copy of Roman Catholic baptismal certificate or confirmation letter from the Parish that you are enrolled/completed the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program
  3. Declaration of Commitment form - Click here for the Declaration of Commitment Form
  4. Two (2) professional academic references
  5. Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification (if applicable)
  6. Most recent teacher performance appraisal summative reports OR practice teaching reports (if applicable)
