Job description

Long Term Occasional Teaching Opportunity teaching FSL at St Mark starting as soon as possible until approximately April 25, 2025.

First consideration will be given to Certified Occasional Teachers on the WCDSB Daily Occasional Teacher List. Second consideration will then be given to external certified teachers.

External Certified teachers, who are successful in obtaining a Long-Term Occasional teaching assignment with WCDSB, will also be placed on the WCDSB's Daily Occasional Teacher List.

Requirement: French qualifications are preferred. Consideration will be given to those who have an interest/background in teaching French.

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 30,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

  • Copy of Roman Catholic baptismal certificate or confirmation letter from the Parish that you are enrolled/completed the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program
  • Declaration of Commitment form
  • Two (2) professional academic references
  • Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification (if applicable)
  • Most recent teacher performance appraisal summative reports OR practice teaching reports (if applicable)
