Qualifications

• Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Qualification in Junior Division.
• Additional qualifications in French as a Second Language.
• Strong English and French language skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and use of diagnostic assessments.
• Experience with integrating technology in instruction.
• Understanding of IPRC and IEP in planning and programming.
• Ability to implement differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Commitment to Catholic Education principles and OC Catholic Graduate Expectations.
• Participation in literacy and numeracy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Grade 5 French Immersion instruction.
• Use diagnostic assessments to monitor student progress and inform teaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and parishes to support student learning.
• Contribute to school literacy and numeracy initiatives.
• Maintain an inclusive, safe classroom aligned with Catholic Education values.
