Job summary

Generations Toronto is seeking a Food and Nutrition Manager to oversee the Food and Nutrition Services Department in our long-term care home in Toronto. You will conduct resident nutritional assessments, support the Resident and Family Council, chair the Food Committee, and ensure high-quality, individualized dietary care for residents.

Requires a Nutrition/Dietetics degree, active CSNM or RD, Safe Food Handling certification, and health-care experience; salary range is CAD 60,000–CAD 70,000 per

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or related planning.
• Active CSNM member or Registered Dietitian required.
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management and organization of the Food and Nutrition Services Department for residents.
• Complete resident nutritional assessments, including quarterly assessments and RAPs when applicable.
• Support Resident and Family Council and chair the Food Committee.
