Job summary

Blue Land Transportation Inc. is seeking a driver to load and unload goods and operate straight or articulated trucks in the Victoria area. The role requires ensuring vehicle condition, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and coordinating with central dispatch to relay information.

Responsibilities include accurate cargo records, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel usage. A Class 1/A license with air brakes and related credentials are required, with on-site work only.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
