Tasks
  1. Address customers' complaints or concerns
  2. Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  3. Maintain professionalism in customer service
  4. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  5. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  6. Load and unload goods
  7. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  8. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  9. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  10. Pay and receive payments for goods
  11. Perform brake adjustments
  12. Perform emergency roadside repairs
  13. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  14. Perform preventive maintenance
  15. Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  16. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  17. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
