Job summary

DIVINE BLUEBIRD TRANSPORT LTD. in Surrey, BC, is seeking a truck driver to work on-site in a two-person team or convoy, loading and unloading goods and transporting them to destinations.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor cargo, record logs, and coordinate with central dispatch while ensuring safety and cargo security. No experience is required as training will be provided.

• Secondary school graduation required.
• No experience required; training will be provided.

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
