Job summary

Lexn Logistics Ltd is seeking 3 full-time long-haul truck drivers in Canada, with secondary school graduation and English language requirements. A Class 1 license with air brake endorsement is mandatory; trucking experience is a plus.

Primary tasks include loading/unloading, operating and driving large trucks, vehicle inspections, and coordinating with dispatch. Hours and safety records will be maintained as required.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required.
• Class 1 license with air brake endorsement is required.
• English language required. Trucking experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
