Job summary

Onway Logistics & Warehousing Inc in Edmonton is seeking a professional truck driver to join our team. The role involves operating extended length tractor-trailers in a two-person convoy, planning routes to save fuel, and delivering cargo safely to our customers.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage cargo documentation, and maintain professional customer interactions. Training is provided for those new to the role, with emphasis on safety, compliance with air brakes

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/A license are required.
• Two-person team/convoy driving experience is a plus.

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and emissions.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions

• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
